now - that hopefully this OHA business is out of everyones system - at least for a wile

you need a proper caving trip - and that can only be done in the Yorkshire dales :P its the caving laws

so stop slacking and sign up for a proper trip :

TO YORKSHIRE - where the real caves are

there is nothing on the club schedule for the next few weeks - so get organised - and get a date set - and the exact trip will be finalised according to weather conditions and abilities / desires of who actually turns up

I propose tatty wife for a dry day, swinsto pull through or little hull pot. OR can I suggest the boxhead/lost John's/Notts II connection..

They all sound awesome. I've only done the hothead connection one so far.

if we want to embugger ian - then it will have to be a leck fell permit :P

shuttleworth pot ? - a moderate SRT entrance into a fooking bonkers cave - with awesome pretties and newts and even a dog :)

short drop / gavel ?? - srt trip - with the option of an exchange

nots2 ? - a entrance on fixed ladders / scrabling - to very nice stream passage - with lots to see - to get the best trip there is a very wet long crawl

but to truly fuck him over - split up and pirate casterton and leck :P

but on a serious note - due to inclement weather - I had not actually considered booking a permit

though of the above - shuttleworth is safe in any weather - unless you go right to the sump and it takes a LOT of water to make notts2 unsafe

getting a Lancaster hole / easgegill permit - will be a lot easier - as the permit sec for casterton is a nice chap

easegill is fooking awesome - but its vast and my knowledge of the system is very limited - trips can be ` graded ` from easy bimbles to fooking epics

or gaping gill ? - very easy to get a permit - stream or marylin / dis ?

though TBH - I was thinking of a kingsdale trip - or meregill

obviously highly weather dependant

does anyone have a strong preference ? or had a cave on their wishlist for ages ??
