ian,

Just thinking about what great footage this could be - but high likelyhood of a wet camera.

if i dropped off my camera in the scuba housing with mike before i leave would you be up for getting it wet on my behalf?

Contols are as easy as pressing the top white button for on/off and the big yellow shutter release for start/stop recording. Its old, doesn't even let you zoom while videoing.

its pretty much bomb proof - i've dived down to 50ish meters with it :-) If anything went 'wrong' i wouldn't hold you liable!

Let me know because i'll leave it charged, memory card cleared etc etc.

As the self appointed UCET Water Safety Officer :woohoo:  I would like to ask all members on this trip to bring a BA (buoyancy aid (Life jacket)) with them if they have one.

The water will be cold and wet   I know this from personal experience

Being a UCET trip it is inevitable that you WILL fall in and if you don't then you may just get a small push

I have about 5 BA's that I can bring.

Regards

Gas meter needed for this in case of small amount of carbon dioxide sitting on top of the water ..it can be found at the very lowest points of a mine in its sumps so be careful.
