Good Morning all & Happy New Year.

I hope everyone enjoyed whatever time they had off over the festive period, back to it now with caving. Thursday;s trip will be Poachers, we then need to create a list of at least 1-2 months worth of trips so any ideas please send them over on Whats App.

DETAILS:

Poacher’s Cave â€" The Thunderdome - Dependent on numbers, could be a trip to the end and back, maybe apush into the lower series. We are looking to see if there has been any changes at all with all the weather lately.

Here you will be able to see (if you spot them all);
• The petrified alligator
• The sediments of time
• The hidden wall crystals of purity
• The triangular passage of antiquity
• The chandelier of destiny
• The boss of doom

Location : Poacher’s Cave
Meet Place : Cilcain Bridge
Meet Time : 6:30pm-6:45pm
Requirements : Wellies, overalls, helmet, lamp. (Spare clothes and towel)

Link to Parking
: goo.gl/maps/Y9PjfF7LvWtoL4pr8

Nearest Postcode : CH7 5NJ

You will get wet.

Entrance is via a short electron ladder.

Suitable for novices with some experience

Happy New year guys. I won't be at poachers, but would be keen to see the Milwr at some point if a trip is getting organised

Can I recommend more Saturday or Sunday Trips?

I work for a living, So does Jay, and weekday caving is impossible for us.

We would greatly appreciate some consideration of this when making plans.

We joined last year and haven't had a single trip with you guys yet, so please keep this in mind when making plans.

Thank You
Steph & Jay
There are many paths up the mountain, all leading in the same direction,

The one wasting time is the one who runs around the mountain, telling everyone that their path is wrong

One weekend either single day or hut stay per month is organised as a club trip but all members are also encouraged to suggest dates / locations that can be added to the trip list, the problem is it's rare that members step forward and provide dates and recommendations for trips.

Trips can also be ran by members themselves and posted to the forum / what's app chat and if an email circular needs to be sent out to reach more people then contact myself or Jon
Thanks,
Kieran

Sorry you’ve missed out on trips but UCET’s trip day has always been a Thursday evening and always will. Alot of people work around there work patterns and often miss trips. Unfortunately as much as we’d like to accommodate everyone and we do try. Perhaps try and free yourselfs up for some weekend trips that some of our members kindly put on for those who can’t make weekly trips.
