well Doug its your lucky day Mike has bought you a brand new alternator so make sure you fit it right with the
proper belts not the one that holds your trousers up as that's probably worn out, will be discussing a trip to the lake at the AGM I think we will be making a trip before the Wessex have there,s on the 28th it will be on a sat or sun when Mike and Tim can make it, if you want  to fit it on a thurs day I will come down and dig some track out and you can come and pick me up when your done Mick

let me know what the water levels are put a water level mark on the wall and I should be okay for the following Thursday I can then see how much it has moved up or down I will measure the rainfall from this thusday to the next one  ie if 50 cm of rain falls this week and your marker is down 2 inches it will give
a bit of a forecast I can then mark the levels when I leave and if we keep this going we should be able to speculate water levels within an inch or two

This Thursday or Thursday the 6th?  As I am on holiday this week I can make it to Rhyd Alyn early if anybody wants to go down to the train.  I have got some extra lights with me.  Otherwise I will join Tom down OHA with my cameras.  Up at a pub on the Staffordshire Moorlands right now.....

Mike left a plant tag to mark the current water level by the mine carts (it has a bit of orange on it)
