I have charged up my power pack to take down to train on Thursday. I will try and waterproof it somehow.  I can go a bit earlier depending on who else is free.

I think I have fixed the centrifugal clutch, (fingers crossed), one of the shoes was seized solid, also I have made an adjusting arrangement to set the shoes more accurately to the drum.
found a belt a little shorter than the other and exdtended the slot in the adjusting bracket.

full steam ahead tonight then !! Last time we took the train along the tunnel the tracks were full of silt so the wheels wouldn't run. We will need to clear a 30 meter stretch before we get the train stuck again, assuming we get it running.
