Thursday Night Trip - 30th Oct 2014 - Hendre Spar Mine

Hi all,

We have had a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children) ask us if we could take them underground as they are in the area for half term. They came to the Cilcain/Pantymywn shows and enjoyed our club stand and cave etc. The gentleman spoke with Tim and he has emailed the club with regards to us laying on a trip for himself and his family. They stay at a caravan in the area and are down this week for half term. There may also be others on the caravan site interested in coming but will know later in the week.

Myself and Vikki are away this Thursday so I'm looking for keen volunteers to assist taking them underground - hopefully tour guide Ian is available . I have 3 helmets I can provide but we'll need a few more.

I know we only did Spar Mine recently but this could be a great way of helping spread word about our club in the surrounding area.

I can be there for 7 Tony.  I also have 2 spare lids but only 1 spare light.

We are going to need plenty of club lids with batteries charged.

Can whoever has the club lids give them a once over and fetch them,

I am happy to go but with so many new people and kids, we need several "hands on" experience people for the ladders.

Thanks Sledge ... we should have enough "club" lids, it's just a case of attracting the attention of the person who has them
