Hi all.

This weeks trip is as follows

Trip: OHA

General mooch up to the canals or further if you fancy SRT. Shouldn't be too wet after such a long dry spell.

Meeting Time: 6.30pm

Meeting Point: Cilcain Bridge

Most of the cave will be very dry - I attempted to get to the end a month ago after a similar spot of weather and the river levels are still very very low (or they were on thursday).

Sump 1 was very full - almost up to the traverse and we couldn't get the siphon going. If you could that'd be amazing as I think I've managed to convince someone else to have another go and the sump will need a week or two to empty.

If not then does anyone fancy an OHA trip to get the sumps going? (Though not this thursday as I'm following up the through trip I connected 2 weeks ago.)

Have Fun!

If its not too wet up to the canal I fancy giving this trip a go. How long is the shaft down the electron ladder as I hate them? I'm OK going down its getting back up I struggle with!

it's only about 20ft, and on the way up you can use the side wall to stand on , i'll bring a life line

What a fantastic cave and trip guys! A huge big thanks to Mike Leahy for looking after me and showing me the way past the canal to the first pitch. I will look forward seeing Tony's video.
