Hi All

Apologies for the late post this week, I’ve been stuffing my face with pancakes  

As there’s been no input on the monthly trip schedules from anyone I’m going to revert back to the weekly trip posts, unless I get feedback otherwise???

This week’s trip will be as follows……………

Trip One: OHA

Trip Type: Trip to the end and back!!!......just kidding   The trip is to see how things are looking after all the rain we’ve had. Probably to the canals and back!!!

Hi Vikki,

As a suggestion ……

In OHA, after the long muddy belly crawl near the entrance, through the big boulder chamber, down the knotted rope, through the short duck and into the dry walkable passage; there is a turn you take to the left to head for the sand crawl. Instead of turning left, carry straight on and this takes you into a chamber which takes water.

When we visited this area previously, Crazy discovered a new part of the cave (awkward to get into). Additionally, there was a passage leading off and another leading down which were very silted and “gooey” and we could not get past.

It is possible the floods/water may have cleared some of this and it may have exposed new ground.

Fancy having a  look there instead of the canals ?
