Trip Details: SRT practice for most, and digging if the fitter of us have time.

Trip Two: Poachers Cave

Meet Time: 18:30

Trip Details: Nice little mooch about the lovely Poachers cave. Short electron ladder on entrance, probably very wet and muddy considering the weather lately

i actually might take the easy option - i've never taken my camera into poachers and if the water level is up it would make some interesting piccies.

So - poachers at 6:30 for me. (i've got a ladder etc in the landy)

It's worth going to take some shots down towards the lower series. Quite a bit of water a few weeks back and would make a really good action shot with a flash behind someone and sidelight with another flash. Never went back in the end as Tom bailed on me

I was going to say 'thanks' to Tim and Boydy for such a nice trip, but then found this picture above.  I must have been photographing pretties elsewhere, whilst this was going on in the Boss Chamber - with Bella too!

I took lots of pictures but the quality was very poor.

A few pics.

Sorry some are soft on focus - i'd forgotten to refit the O ring seal in my pelicase after giving it a good scrub in the sink a few days ago. I didn't notice until i got my camera out and it literally had watter running out of the SD memory card slot and I found about an inch of water inside my pelicase (thankfully to a great extent being 'held' in the foam padding.

Decent bits of kit these Nikon's. It kept taking photos and the misting in the lens soon evaporated.

Got away lightly i think!
