I sent some photos of the 101 up at Cwm Croesor from CRTT (including the one of it stuck, don't worry) into the photo competition in Land Rover Owner magazine.

I had an email back asking for more information, so i replied describing the calamities that unfold every time i get behind the wheel and they seem fascinated by it.

One of the editors has asked if I'd be using the 101 as mine-exploration transport anytime soon, because they'd like to send a photographer along, and they're going to write a feature about it.

So, who fancies a trip in the next couple of weeks, where we can use the 101 as transport?!  :cheer:
oh, what fresh hell is this?

Croesor seems the obvious choice. It would cost a fortune to drive to Moel Fferna, and I'm not convinced the 101 would make it all the way there!!

it would be nice if we could take the photographer on the trip itself, which might be a problem at CRTT. The email says the photographer is a keen climber, so he should manage the abseils. But, by taking a newbie to CRTT, are we any better than 28dl?!

Any preference as to what days? Tuesday and Wednesday ar best for me.

I can then get back in touch with the guy and try and organize it :)

Yes, thats fine for me - keep me posted with times etc. I can bring some spare equipment so the bloke can at least come for a walk into the first sections of the mine.

Please confirm asap so i can arrange my week.

:-) Sounds like great fun!

If for some reason, the guy can't make it on Tuesday, do we want to do the trip anyway, or go somewhere else?
