Trip report

Not much of a report this time as I was not leading the trip and had no idea where we were going.
We managed to stray from the designated route (as is evidenced in the photo of the map).

The  walk was, nevertheless, amazing with Autumn’s Gown beginning to fold itself around us. The forest floors were alive with wonder, the rain covered everything with a silver cloak and the colours came through in a dazzling last éclat before the fall of the year finally takes them away for another year.

The Rivers were fantastic with rapids made of the stuff of Legends and Faeries, the streams held waterfalls, mostly hidden in the woodland and difficult to find but were as beautiful as the paling moonlight creeping our over a tranquil sea of hidden magic.

Of course, there was the Ffestiniog Railway and numerous mine adits to anchor us back in the real world but this walk was excellent.

And .... as always, a short video ...
