Directions
Park at the Drover’s Arms in Rhewl (halfway between Denbigh and Ruthin) and walk across the road and over the bridge along Lady Bagot’s Drive.

Continue to walk up-river, along the road for about ½ mile until you see a weir.
The mine adit is just before the weir in the rock face at water level (obviously on the other side of the river).

Description
A small trial adit created to annoy people like me who wade across raging rivers with hands full of camera equipment trying not to lose their balance whilst stumbling along the river bed in knee depth water flowing at 50mph.

This trial adit is featureless and virtually hopeless.

The adit is visible here but partly hidden by the trees (almost dead centre at river level)
