"The £17,900 Heritage Lottery-funded investigation" to look at and record a 18m long tunnel - To think what we could do with that amount of money with regards to miles of local mine workings some dating back to roman times which are currently lost or in the process of being lost.

IF you get the money ill take 10% for supervising LOL :) its a sham they getting all that for what is just a train tunnel.. thier is nothing of importance or nothing with the building whats difference

But in all honesty i can't think of anything more relevant that is in a state that preservation funding could make a real difference to in North Wales Heritage than what lies underground....
