Nent Trip

Howdy guys just wanted to see if any one is up for a Nenthead trip 7th April?  I am planning on being there for the weekend and can plan a good full day trip taking in a lot of Smallcleugh mine stretching to the far reaches and middlecleugh second sun vein.  If people are happy to do a bit of abseiling we can also end the day with an abseil down Prouds sump to explore the flats and then head out through Rampgill

Yup this is a Sunday.  I am actually there Sat and Sun but am doing another trip Sat so will do the big mooch round on Sunday for you all

I think I will be attending this. Probably from Friday eve to Monday morning.
I'd like to bring Cookie and Frank (Wessex) with me if that's ok (will help with travel costs).

Are we all making our own accommodation bookings or is somebody doing a group booking, don't mind either way.

I wont be able to offer a trip on the Saturday as i am doing another trip then.  The organised trip will be the Sunday

If you wanted to go for a wander into one of the mines there on the Saturday i can gladly offer you directions to some interesting things

Hi Edward,
I've never caved at Nenthead but have driven through the village a couple of times.
We don't want to crash your Saturday trip, we're all big boys and quite happy to sort ourselves out on Saturday.  :silly:  however some pointers for the Saturday would be most welcome.

I have been wanting to do the Smallclough through to Rampgill trip for some time now, so having somebody that knows the way would save us a lot of grief route finding.
Are we all booking our own accommodation? Will it be OK to book the same bunkhouse as you?  :dry:
