It is absolutely dead centre of this map. (I dunno how to place markers)

Absolutely dead north and then very slightly to the right is a building with a dirt track - this is your path to the dig (it is marked as a public footpath)

The dig is under a tree in a hollow (look for an obvious shakehole with a tree in in it)
