Poacher's Trip

Meet Time : 10:00 - 10:15am

Meet Place : Cilcain Bridge (as usual)

We have a couple of Wessex friends visiting North Wales and there is a trip to explore Poacher's Cave on Weds 20th June.

We hope to see all of the cave (top to bottom, front to back).

One 12 foot electon to enter and expect (as usual) to get wet and muddy.

Expect to be underground for 3 hours possibly a little more.

:)

Hi All,

Thanks for fixing this trip for us.  Looking forward to it and meeting you all on Wednesday.  We're heading up to North Wales in a couple of hours so not able to be contacted on here from now.

Cheers

Excellent trip - everyone had fun, got wet and covered in cave goo.

It was great to meet Tim & Ses .... Richard's first cave too and he was thrilled :)

Dylan and Katie both proclaimed it was wetter and muddier than expected (dry, walk in, walk out huh   ) but both enjoyed it.

Thanks to Vikki for taking time out from work (bunking off) and, as always, helping to keep the group in order :)

The waterfall was in full gush and was looked spectacular. It was also interesting to note that the waterfall area had been in flood up to and inside the wormhole leading to the rift immediately above it.

I know - i was in the water neck deep while it was in flood. You're bang on right - it was to the roof at that point!

It was that day that we bailed on the OHA trip and did Poachers instead - the river was really high in flood, Nicks missus and two girls were with us - well they didn't come down the helter skelter....
