This cave is located further upstream than Afon Meirchion Cave (Lower) and much higher up the bank. Look for the rocky outcrop and the perilous path around the front of it (hard to see in summer and very hard to get to in winter)

Cave Attributes
Almost featureless phreatic cave, aven and crawl.

Description
It is a triumph just to reach this cave.

The entrance is hidden to the side of the rocky outcrop although there is another crawl entrance on the front but this is invisible until you walk right past it.

The entrance immediately gives way to a chamber with a climbable aven which leads to another small chamber.

On the floor is a small crawl passage the length of which is unknown as, when we were there, it was full of “dumps”

There is also another crawl entrance close to the main cave entrance and nothing much is known of this but it may connect.

The cave is dry and boasts no features or decorations.

Unexplored Passges
The passage full of dumps remains unexplored

Digs
