Part of me wishes I'd bought, rather than made my Lamps. Battery problems abound, which would be easier if twats on ebay didn't sell fake goods. Chances of me hooking up a LiPo to an unknown Charger? Feck all, the little bastards are evil if you overcharge them.. I'll do it the old way, cell by cell, with a Multimeter on it.

The other part of me that loves the 900+ Lumens is glad I build them though!

The Duo's light output may not be the best compared to others, but i've had my money's worth already! Also, basic AA cells mean if you're caught short with a dud set then there is a good chance someone will have a set

Indeed, and my Backup takes AAA's, (not to mention seemingly bombproof, and plenty bright) for that reason.

Batteries duly charged, and I don't want to see a Multimeter outside of work for a while :ohmy:

At the top of the page, 'Hoss' posted saying to meet at Rydwmwyn garage forecourt.. but then somebody else mentioned a caravan park.. Could I get a grid reference/map location to where we are meeting just so i know.?

You are much better off meeting at the garage as it is not known who is going.

The garage is at "spider" junction in Rhydymwyn Grid Ref SJ 206 668 (approx)

this is the garage forecourt, i'd suggest sticking with this as the meeting point (as per hoss's original post), from here it is a short drive to the caravan park but it might be an idea to leave some cars at the garage and share lifts.
