Its only a little rope to climb but worth it to see the winding gear.

I might take a drill and a few bolts in case speedy's peg is looking a bit worse for wear ;)

Mate, if you could bring bolting gear, then that would be great. happy to share the load. One of us still has to go up the thing though to bolt the top :(. We could just draw straws... :P As far as I know, the rope is only secured to an old peg. I hope it's not one of the Speedy special black 11mm military rope as my descender hates the stuff :ohmy:

As per usual, on any weekend trip, i will be sporting a hangover. Don't think that I will make it up the hill with 50 metres of static rope in tow. Will just have to bring a fig 8 or something
