UCET Thursday Trip Advisor

Hello all,

Here are the details for our next Thursday night trip;

Location : Maeshafn Mine
Meet Place : Maeshafn
Meet Time : 6:30pm-6:45pm
Requirements : Wellies, overalls, helmet, lamp, gloves

Post Code : CH7 5LR

Parking is 200 yards away here; https://maps.app.goo.gl/7BFaaEZDGgWPAi3t6

Notes : This is a lead mine with a “Derbyshire Key” lid. There is a squeezy section early on (4 feet) then an internal incline down to the workings. Some of the mine accepts water in wet weather and this can leave muddy water. Be prepared to need a change of clothes. Knee pads recommended.

Suitable for novices with some experience, not suitable for debut cavers.

If you do fancy coming, please reply to the UCET Forum thread.

Not a problem.  As long as they're aware there some squeezes, climbs and lots of mud, then they'll be good
