UCET LADIES CHRISTMAS TRIP - ABERLLYN - Wednesday 18th December 2024

An interesting lead mine in the gwydyr forest, has exceptional mineralisation. And other interesting mine features including Ore chutes and cave pearls.

This is a bit of an adventurous mine explore, with ladders, false floors and narrow ledges.

As a Christmas trip, wear anything sparkly or Christmassy for a bit of extra bling.... An elf t-shirt, tinsel, reindeer antlers, etc but just remember it will be covered in mud by the end.

Meet point: Layby on the B5106, we'll take a couple of cars up the track.

Equipment needed: Lid, Lamp, Wellies, Kneepads, gloves, overalls, belt/ harness with cowstails, Christmas bling.
