Finally Joined UCET

Hey all,

I finally joined after years of solo caving,
My significant other wants to get into caving, and I want to get involved in digging, so we have both joined UCET because while I could teach him SRT myself, I'd prefer someone else train him so he doesn't get stressed out.

I've taken him to Hendre Spar and Penarth Slate, quite a few times, he is comfortable with being underground, so I have bought him his very own full SRT kit.

I was shocked to hear from Ian Adams that he's no longer caving because of medical issues, I remember his videos from years ago like the CRTT on the Mine-ExplorerUK website before the site disappeared Ian was a big part of the mine exploring community, hope he gets better.

Jay & I are looking forward to meeting other members of UCET and caving with all of you peeps and glad to be a new member of UCET.
