UCET Ladies Trip Advisor - Hendre Spar Mine

Our next ladies trip is to Hendre Spar Mine. This trip will be split in two.
Trip 1 A guided walkabout which is suitable for mine exploring novices. Be aware that there are a number of ladders to ascend/ descend.

And

Trip 2 SRT practice for those who have either completed their UCET rope awareness course or are competent in Ascending & Decending using SRT techniques. You must have your own equipment to take part in this.

Date: Monday 9th September 2024
Time: 18:30
Equipment needed: Helmet, Lamp, Gloves, caving suit or clothes you don't mind getting muddy, Wellies. (If you need to borrow a lid and lamp please let us know ASAP)
For trip 2 - all of the above and full SRT kit.

Or outside the old royal oak pub, please park considerably here and don't block any entrances.

Probably best to meet outside the royal oak or check the map on the details at the top of this thread
