Hello All,

Here are the details for our next Thursday night trip:


Belgrave Mine - An open to all walkabout trip into Belgrave Mine, for members of UCET whom are S.R.T competent, we can rig an excange trip.

This week we are off to Belgrave mine to do the S.R.T route in there, depending on whether the bottom adit is flooded or not, it could be as follows:

- If not flooded, an abseil down and out
- If not flooded, an abseil down and out, with an exchange trip for those who want some 'UP' practice to climb up and help de-rig.
- If Flooded, everyone is abbing down to the bottom then climbing back up and out.

Location : Llanferres
Meet Place : Lanferres Layby for Pot Hole Quarry
Meet Time : 6:30pm â€" 6:45pm
Requirements : Wellies, overalls, helmet, lamp, gloves, FULL SRT KIT, change of clothes if water levels are up

We will be meeting at this layby then heading for the mine around 1 mile further on. Parking is limited to 4 vehicles at the mine and it will be necessary to car share from the layby.

I have very little hope of the exchange through trip happening due to water levels in the lower level.

If it is possible, who else would be rigging?

It might be worth while rigging the bottom level, gives people more experience

Soz, I'm going to dip out of this trip my heel/ankle pain has got a lot worse and I need to be OK for Saturday.
