Hello All,

Next Thursday;s trip withh be in Hendre Spar mine for the conclusion of the rope awareness course and some S.R.T Bonanza FUN! This can be just a walkabout trip if you like, but everywhere inside this mine will be rigged. The first two pitches close to the entrance are priority for those on the S.R.T course, we will also have the wormhole rigged, the scaff bar traverse and single pitch descent rigged and also the super S.R.T challenge through the roof at the top of the 3 ladders.

Location : Spar Mine

Meet Place : Car Park opposite the Oak Inn - If parking on the road near the pub, please be mindful of parking on the road and infront of the pub gates, please do not park at any junctions.

Meet Time : 6:30pm-6:45pm onwards

Requirements : Wellies, overalls, helmet, lamp, gloves, SRT kit if you are on the ropes (Budgie will have the training kits for those on the course)

I plan on getting there around 5 to do the rigging could do with some volunteers to help carry kit/rig

Im hoping to be there.
As not to anger man who lives in the oak- please avoid parking near the junction. He is ahppy for people to park on side of the oak but he believes its dangerous if people park too close to the junction which blocks sight of people wishing to pull out onto the road.
