Hello All,

Trust everyone that participated in this weekend enjoyed it as much as in previous years. I am personally thanking Doug here again for everything that was put on offer and for everyone that helped with little bits here and there over the past weeks. THANKS DOUG.

So, back to caving business, we have 3 trips this week for you to choose from.


TRIP #1

Spar mine for a walk about & als a fumble on the ropes / rigging practice.

If you would like an SRT refresher, now’s the time alternatively practice some rigging throughout the mine.


Location : Spar Mine

Meet Place : Car Park opposite the Oak Inn - Please be mindful of parking on the road and infront of the pub gates.

Meet Time : 6:30pm-6:45pm onwards

Requirements : Wellies, overalls, helmet, lamp, gloves, SRT kit if you want to fumble on the ropes

TRIP #2

Ste's Dig at the Secret Copper Mine,

Ste requires some more assistance at one of the digs we have ongoing if anyone is available.


Requirements : Wellies, overalls, helmet, lamp, gloves. You should bring a change of clothes as water is over waist deep at the entrance and in parts throughout.

Where: SECRETS (sshhhhhh) - Ask Ste/Mike
Time: 18:30-19:00 meet time

TRIP #3

MAXIMUM 4 Places available

Fish mine S.R.T with GOES Members who are concluded their SRT training. Please confirm your attendence on this forum only so that Richard T is aware of whom is attending.

Location : Prestatyn
Meet Place : Car Parking area at the end of Bishopswood Road
Meet Time : 6:30pm â€" 6:45pm
Requirements : SRT kit (mandatory), Wellies, overalls, helmet, lamp, gloves

This weeks dig at the copper mine has been cancelled me and Mike will be going to Belgrave to renew some of the rigging on the pitches.
People are welcome to come here but you will be able to have a look around or watch us.
