Hello All,

Here are the details for our next Thursday night trip (there are 2 at the same location);

Garreg Boeth (Non-SRT & SRT)

Suitable for novices, this is a wander along the geologically wonderful passage of Garreg Boeth. You will first see Crinoids (if you don’t rush past them), then interesting geological bands, then the sunken pit of “Stig of the dump”. Beyond that are the sunken volcanoes of Atlantis. You will miss the underwater volcanoes unless the front person has the presence of mind to travel carefully through the water and not rake up a deluge of silt (and keep an eye open for them). Beyond all this you will be treated to just below waist deep water and the final passage to the ground dropped shaft at the end.

SRT: We will also rig the SRT pitch into Garreg Boeth for anyone SRT competent, it's advised and a great idea for those fresh off the course to keep coming along to SRT trips to keep it fresh in their minds, after all the more you practice the more natural it becomes and the better you get at it.

I hurt my knee yesterday doing some overground exploring, it's still swollen and stiff....thinking this isn't going to be the best trip for it. Soz....really wanted to come.  :(

Might see you in the pub later though.
