UCET Thursday Trip Advisor

Howdy Doody,

Thursday 16th February, we have an SRT doodling day at Thorntree (right next to Pearl Shaft). This is an ideal little mine to grab some SRT experience and not bad for a quick looksee to boot.

Location : Thorntree Shaft
Meet Place : Halkyn Quarry
Meet Date : Thursday 16th February
Meet Time : 6:30pm-6:45pm
Requirements : Wellies, overalls, helmet, lamp, gloves, Full SRT

This is the turning immediately after the main quarry entrance. You need to take the left hand gravel road and follow it round the corner for 100 metres until you see the gate on your right.

Nearest Postcode : CH8 8HP

Not suitable for non-SRT cavers
