Howdy Doody,

Here are the details for our next Thursday night trip;

Ogof Nadolig (Christmas Cave) Santa Special
This is a one off special trip to Christmas cave with us all dressed as Santa. You MUST be in Santa uniform and you will not be allowed to cave with the group if you do not have one on. There will be “before and after” photographs. Santa costumes can be bought off Amazon with next day delivery and Ebay with dubious delivery dates.

Location : Ogof Nadolig â€" Santa Special
Meet Place : The Sewage Works (down the lane in the link)
Meet Date : Thursday 22nd December 2022
Meet Time : 6:30pm-6:45pm
Requirements : Wellies, overalls, helmet, lamp, gloves, (harness/tails optional) â€" Santa Costume MANDATORY

Link to Parking: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.1812993,-3.2238661,3a,75y,124h,75.58t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1spGUMsswFvZW19xmKcWQiyg!2e0!7i13312!8i6656?hl=en-GB

Nearest Postcode :CH7 5NL

(Drive down the bridle path â€" parking is very close to the end of the lane past the farm)

Notes : This cave is “squeezy”. Descent is by a 10 foot maypole ladder, there is a flat out crawl of around 30 feet and a rope assisted descent down a pot of, around 15 feet at 45 degrees then 10 feet vertical. This is usually done with a “flying angel” but you can clip on with “down gear” if you want. If you are in doubt, please ask on the forum.

Suitable for novices with some experience.

If you do fancy coming, please could you let me know either by replying to the UCET forum thread. No worries if you don’t know.

Thanks !

See you soon…..

:)

I'll be there! Sarah ordered the suit as soon as e-mail come through!!! Got no choice now
You're never late with a V8, sadly I do not own a V8!

Soz I'm not going to make it, still a bit stiff from my ladder falling off escapade. So not sure a squeezy cave would be a good plan.
If anyone needs a santa suit I have a spare for a tenner.

See you all in the new year!
