UCET Thursday Trip Advisor

Here are the details for our next Thursday night trip;

Location : Maeshafn Mine

Meet Date : Thursday 22nd Sept 2022
Meet Time : 6:30pm-6:45pm
Requirements : Wellies, overalls, helmet, lamp, gloves

Notes : This is a lead mine with a “Derbyshire Key” lid. There is a squeezy section early on (4 feet) then an internal incline down to the workings. Some of the mine accepts water in wet weather and this can leave muddy water. Be prepared to need a change of clothes. Knee pads recommended.  

Suitable for novices with some experience, not suitable for debut cavers.

I think I will be giving this one a miss  :sick:  but I will be coming over to north Wales next Thursday anyway to view the Beaufort Park Hotel and have a few drinks in the Glan.  Will be finalising plans for our Christmas do then.

Work are Sending me to Conwy for a job tomorrow, so depending on timings I may be able to join this trip as it’s on my way back to Deepest  Darkest Derbyshire
