To mark our 100 membership achievement, I thought I would shove up a photo of UCET members "Past & Present"

For 10 points each;

1) Can you name the faces in the photograph below (everyone is or was a UCET member) - 1 point per person?
2) Can you name the person who is just off to the right ?
3) The chappie sat down with his thumbs up is looking at someone or something - who or what is it ?
4) Where are we ?
5) Was the photo taken before or after the trip ?

I recognise 7 of the people but I don't recognise the ear.
I also think I know where it was taken
