So ....

We need a suggestion for our trip for this week ...

Sadly, neither Mike or myself will be able to make it so we also need someone to "lead" the trip (I know we don't have "leaders" - we need a meet & greeter)

Thoughts peeps?

 ;)

My suggestion is OHA or Cefn Y Gist.
The trees have ears, the hills have eyes. Trust no one... but the sheep.

You happy to be the "Meet & greeter"?

If you are, which is your pleasure?

We are now 24 hours from Tulsa ... That's ...

"T"he "U"cet "L"ot "S"ubterrnians - "A"borted  (TULSA)

In other words, if we have no trip organised in the next 24 hours, there won't be one  :S

Sorry. I did suggest trips but then forgot to check forum again. I'm happy to meet and cave etc.

Cefn Y Gist would be my choice. Open to all.

Good Man, top dollar, a stawart amongst men …

Where would you like the meet point to be?

The usual layby on world's end. I'll try find coords when at pc later. Also a raise of hands would be good so I know who to expect.

Do you mean the World's end car park by the World's end caves (that's about a mile from Cef-y-Gist) ?

Greg, I'm pretty sure that the Cefn-y-gist that Tom is visiting is ogof Cefn-y-Gist, a cave, not a mine.

If the number of vehicles is kept low, and preferably not Civic Type-R's, there are several spots along the verge of the road where you can park (NOT the passing places) fairly close to the entrance.
A more distant meet point and car share makes sense here.
Use the gargoyle/greenfruit 'streetview' systems to get ideas beforehand

I did go to the Caves of South Wales site but looked under the letter "C" for Cefn and not "O" for Ogof and Googled it instead and came up with the mine instead.

This trip has been postponed as it is clashing with the SRT training ....

Sorry about that  :S
