Hi folks.

Apologies this appears late but I did type it up and somewhere between pressing submit and checking page, it seems to have got lost in cyberspace.

This weeks trip is to Doug's dig after good progress was made last week.

MEET POINT: Doug's manor
MEET TIME: 6:30pm onwards.
EQUIPMENT: Caving suit/overalls, helmet and lamp, wellies/boots. Recommend a change of clothes and waterproofs dependant on weather.

Regards,
Steve.
You're never late with a V8, sadly I do not own a V8!

Are there any plans to start in the afternoon especially as it gets dark early nowadays.  I can make it for mid-afternoon.

Just to add to what Steve has put up ....

We are hoping to consolidate the (now) historical two UCET Thursday night trips/events into one. Doug's dig is exciting and important and we do not want to lose momentum or focus. That said, not everyone is a digger (sure, we all want to go the moment it breaks through - me for certain  ;)  ).

Future digging efforts and caving trips are now (so far as we can manage it) going to fall on different evenings.

This effort at Dougs will hopefully embrace members who would otherwise be going on a trip ...

Even if you are not a digger .. please come along ... have a peep, have a chat and have a laugh.

 :)
