Thursday Trip 30th August.

Hi folks,

Thursday trip this week is to do some bolting work in the shafts behind Boydy's ranch. You will need to be SRT competent for this trip as entrance is a 100ft shaft.

MEET TIME: 6:30-45pm
MEET POINT: Boydy's Ranch aka Bryn Hyfred farm,     Brynford.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Helmet and lamp, caving suit/overalls, gloves, wellies, SRT GEAR, change of clothes.

This is new ground worth exploring.

For those who are not SRT competent or do not fancy dangling on a thread, there are two other trips.

NON SRT TRIP 1: Belgrave, Llanferres. General mooch around the passageways.
MEET TIME: 6:30-45pm
MEET POINT: Lay-by between Llanfferres and Llanarmon yn lal turn off ( A494 ).
Standard caving gear required.

NON SRT TRIP 2: Help Doug set up for UCET fest.
MEET TIME: When you get there
MEET POINT: Doug's house/field.

Hoping to dig a big hole for a temporary toilet and wash basin to empty into, Mick is hoping to put up a zip line from 1pm onwards, and other stuff to do.
I may try to get the electric supply to the BBQ area in the field.
