Thursday trip 28th June.

Hi folks,

This weeks trip is to Rhyd Alyn as we need as we need as many of you as possible to carry some scaff bar down to the new ladder ways to enable this work to carry on.  

MEET TIME: 6:30-45pm
MEET POINT: Pen y fron Chapel car park on the lane from Pantymywyn to Rhydymywyn. Pen y Fron lane.

You will need helmet and lamp, caving suit/overalls, wellies, gloves, cowstails and belt/harness AND a change of clothes as you are liable to get wet.

Trip is open to non-members but please let us know in advance. Members, it would be helpful if you could let us know if you are going.

I can bring a spare lid. I am missing a belt and a good set of cowstails though but may be able to fashion something up

Avoid the DHL route (well its up to you). But if you do its almost certain you'll rip your suit and/or cut yourself on razor sharp shards of metal that i cut with hacksaw on the various bits of new steel work.

I'll be back in there as soon as i get home with a metal file and a tub of elbow grease.

Steven,

Water will go over the top of your wellies - you may want to bring some spare clothes.

You would also benefit from gloves.

The other stuff is "equipment" (the tails/harness) and they are being brought for you.

I've not got a willy but seem to manage quite welly!
