Hi all,

This weeks trip is to the wonderful ladder museum which is also known as bog mine.

MEET TIME: 6:30 - 6:45pm.

MEET LOCATION: Large layby on the A494 just past Llanferres if you heading towards Ruthin or just before Llanferres
if you are heading towards Mold.

EQUIPMENT: Essential: Caving suit or similiar, gloves, wellies or boots, change of clothes, Helmet and lamp.
Highly Recommended: Cowstails and belt/harness, removal of brain and all senses.

WHAT TO EXPECT: Bog mine is wet and muddy in places, has a range of 'ladders' and access platforms/beams. It can be
challenging in parts but nothing too taxing on you.  Dependant on time, we hope to get past the
                flooded stopes (hence cowstails).

It would be handy but not essential if you could let us know you are coming. Non - members are welcome and we can lend you a helmet and lamp but we will need to know in advance.

Regards,
Steve

I will be heading off down to Somerset for Mendip CaveFest on Thursday so I will not be able to make it this Thursday.

Is this the one where we share lifts up the lane and then walk up the hill, or, if somewhere else, have I done it, and did I 'like' it?

Sorry for crap memory.  Thank you

Yes, you have done it with Sweetie, Boydy and myself. You enjoyed it.  It is better to reduce number of cars as parking can be awkward along the track.
