08:00:00 from my house (Carriag, CH7 5EL) and then 08:00:30 from outside the Crown!

All that said - if its only Me Tom and Tony then it'll work out cheaper to just go in Tonys car i guess?

Vikki - are you coming too....? why don't we sort out a rendezvous somewhere sensible like Cheshire oaks and dump unused cars there?

3 x 50m ropes (2x 10.5's and 1x 9.5)
1 x 70m (9.5)
1 x 30m (9.5)

What are the proposed routes we're doing? Ok, Diccun is just one option (with a 68m, 35m, 60m) but Alum  appears to have a bit more choice.

Do i need to go to Mikes and grab some club ropes?

Gonna be rushing about like a blue arsed fly tomorrow getting marquees up and collecting band gear etc.

Tom as far as i'm concerned i've not rigged either. SO if you want to have a crack at Alum as you've done it before then thats fine (what route though so we can plan ropes), i'll have a bash at diccan. :-)

ohh and by the way - if i'm rigging i'm not bringing my camera - so danny old bean, bring yours coz i'd love a photo or two :-)

Yep, fine to go in my car.

I'm nipping to pub here in Rhyl Saturday night as a mate and his missus are having some leaving drinks before they depart to Austrailia for 6-12 months, but I may only have a few shandies, but then I may not either.

If I do shandy option (doubtful) then I'll come down to Crown later on and just kip in the car, otherwise I'll be at the Crown for 8.00 in the morning.

I'll take my camera too but my tripod got killed last weekend so I'm just gonna stick it on my little gorilla tripod so can get it all in bag.

without a word of a lie, me and sean made it through the churns as far as the bottom of the slab with just a 20m rope, some slings and the laces out of my boots, there are pictures on the interwebs somewhere to prove this too.

I'll bring a couple of bed sheets and an old extension lead this time though, so the alum side wont be a problem.

Somebody needs to take some pictures.. I'm happy to rig stuff given that I'm crap with the camera underground (Although most of it is in daylight to be fair). I have 2x 35m, 1x 20m, and a 50m at the moment. My 70 and 40 are being loaned out, but if you need any more will bring along.

Hmmm.. fair point, Ok I have 2x 35m (cut from an 80m), 1x 20m (Bought 25m - Bit generous on shrink there I think), and a 50m which has actually been remarked to 45.6m when remeasured after *cough cough* dinorwic...   As for the 70 and 40 god only know what they may be now..
