John Nicholson

Please see my remark above.
I would like to know more about what is happening with this dig, and whether (as was suggested before) I would be more of a nuisance then useful help.  It is a long drive over from Bangor, so need to know it will be worth comming over.  As you know, I don't enjoy comming over to Halkyn just to stand in the hail.
If people are 'bored', they could have a look at the murfs maeshafn sinkhole dig we started last year - not been there for ages and it would be interesting to see how much it has washed in on itself.

Or carry some ladders into Rhyd Alyn, or go down the the Rhyd Alyn HDL dig.

plenty to do :-)
If you put a date on for a thursday night hdl dig, I'd be happy to assist Tim. I'm not a key holder.

Tim Watts

I'm a keyholder - back 22nd march.

But to be honest it would make more sense to do a full day or at least an afternoon.

Are you working on Thursday 29th March? - perhaps you and I could go down to the Dig during the day and do a couple of hours and then the club trip could meet us down there later on and see the progress - think theres quite a few members who probably haven't been in there yet. ??

I'm free all day on the 29th if its good for you?

If this is a UCET initiation rite, I'm rapidly reconsidering my membership! ;)
You want me to go down *there*? On a bloody *rope*?
