UCET Ladies Trip Advisor - Hendre Spar Mine

Our next ladies trip is to Hendre Spar Mine. This trip will be split in two.
Trip 1 A self-guided walkabout, the route is straightforward . Be aware that there are a number of ladders to ascend/ descend. We can give advice about route finding before you go.

And

Trip 2 SRT practice for those who have either completed their UCET rope awareness course or are competent in Ascending & Decending using SRT techniques. You must have your own SRT equipment to take part in this.

Message one of the trip Guides if you're unsure your skills fit this trip.

Equipment needed: Helmet, Lamp, Gloves, caving suit or clothes you don't mind getting muddy, Wellies. (If you need to borrow a lid and lamp please let us know ASAP)
For trip 2 - all of the above and full SRT kit.

Or outside the old royal oak pub, please park considerably here and don't block any entrances.
