I see you’ve registered with the mine explorers site. If the site end’s up like AN you’ll get loads of mining advice. They quite like photos and trip reports as well

I went into Hendre today, it's definitely a lot wetter than usual. And there had been some gravel shift in places, presumably from water running through. All of the wet bits were much deeper. And the water had completely flooded the lower level. We managed to step off the bottom of the 3rd ladder to be able to get a photo, but that was it.
I didn't see any shifting of the ladders, or anything out of place and I last went in early December.

No significant collapses.

Ah looks like the flooding was a lot less ‘floody’ for you then! I’m going back this week at some point or maybe early next week. Hopefully it’s even less flooded as I’ll be taking someone for their first underground trip. I’m hoping to do the abseil too. Fingers crossed.
Was there not normally a log on the other side of the fence(at the entrance) that was used as a step down? I’m sure there was and it wasn’t their last time I went. We manoeuvred ladders until they felt safe when we noticed they seemed to have shifted. Hopefully they’ve stayed safe.
Thank you

FYI there is no longer any ropes left in situ for any of the abseils, so you will need to take your own ropes to rig any of the pitches in there

I e never used the rope that was there and always use my own anyway. Thanks though.
