Directions
Park in a layby on the A5 just past Rhyd-y-Crua Farm a few miles south of Llanwrst. You will have just passed an outdoor centre and a public footpath if you came from Llanwrst. Take the public footpath into the woods.

The adits are in the woods on the left of the path and difficult to find. Look for spoil heaps.

Access
Not gated and unknown. There are two woodlands, Coed Hafod and Coed Bronrhedyn. It is believed that the outdoor centre own the former and not known who owns the latter but the latter is where the adits are.

Mine Attributes
Presumed to be lead (or copper?) mines. Some decorations now present. Dry.

Description
There are a small number of adits within the woods which are interesting but fairly short. Very typical of lead mines.

There is also a shaft marked on the o/s map which was not found but another totally sumped adit was found on lower ground beneath the general location of this shaft suggesting that this system is now completely flooded.

Unexplored Passages
Not known, there may be additional adits in the woodlands that remain unfound.
