Ok, it is a tw4t to find if you have not been there before as the dig is in a dip and under the cover of a tree (and Murf is hiding under the tree out of sight).

From the centre of the village - park on the main road at the end of the short lane that takes you to the Miners pub. Whilst stood in the centre, you can face the road heading towards Llanferres or you can face the opposite direction - you need to face the opposite direction. Drive along this road past the turning to Mold and you will see a private lane on the right within a couple hunderd yards with a public footpath. Park there and take the private lane on foot following the footpath. The house is called "Fynnon" something and you can see evidence of a well by their boundary wall.

Following the footpath over a stile and walk the footpath running along a fence line alongside some trees.

This opens up after a couple of hundred yards and you will see "open land" on your right (a field or two) - head towards them and head for the absolute lowest point (that is where the water is sinking and where Murf is digging). There are two large sinkholes with trees in both - it is the nearest one - you won't be able to tell until you actually get in the tree.

You might see Murfs fag smoke rising as a giveaway ....

Good luck !

Jeez, lol. Right, I've spotted the private lane on google maps, so I'll go and look for Mick's smoke signals. Thanks Ian :)
