Cambrian Caving Council SRT Workshop
 
We've found a bit of money and a few willing CIC's so will be holding another SRT workshop starting at 10am on 5th October at Llangorse Rope Centre.
 
There will be no charge to attend this event but you will need a packed lunch or money to buy food at the venue.
 
Whatever your level of SRT ability you will be welcome but there are only 10 places available. To book yours contact our training officer Richard Hill trainingofficer@cambriancavingcouncil.org.uk
 
Bring a helmet and SRT Kit or let Richard know if you wish to borrow anything.

 
Cavers’ Walk from Craig y Nos  

There are still places available on the walk we have organised in the Cribarth area on 15th September. It will be led by Alan Bowring of the Fforest Fawr Geopark â€" which means it will be good and greatly informative.

There is no charge to attend but as places are limited it would be sensible to advance book by e-mailing our Training Officer, Richard Hill
 
Please bring with you appropriate equipment for a full day on the hills; sturdy footwear, a packed lunch, appropriate clothing for the day and expected weather conditions. A headtorch may be useful but caving equipment will not be needed.
 
The plan is to do a circular walk from Craig y Nos looking at the geology of the area, speleological sites in the area and how the two interact.
