i do have a trigon, for the money it's great, not a patch on Andy's scurion, but it's like a 3rd of the price.

to be honest, it's had an annoying fault for ages now where it will randomly show the low battery warning, so you dont know if the battery is going flat or not, plus it's heavy, very heavy.

Dan - I've heard good things about the Oldham conversions from Bif. You know about Roy's stuff.  Takes your choice.

As for the LED Showdown, I'll break out the SST-50 if You're not careful (and I can find the damn thing), and (Hopefully), I have a Bridgelux on the way to "evaluate. Neither are really practical though... :-(
