Liking that a lot.

Still can't tempt me over to the dark side though, M42 lenses don't play nice with Nikons!

That said, I'm getting an itch to upgrade to a body with Video capabilities. My camcorder does work underground, but I'll bet money it won't last long... and the Missus will kill me, if I kill it.
You want me to go down *there*? On a bloody *rope*?

Cheers Ian,

It was my first time underground videoing with the Nikon D7000.

Massive fook ups with Focus (operator error not remembering what he was doing) and also too much light at times (3x XM-L kicking out 3800lumens burning hell out of things on close range shots). Have a few more improvements to make to my set up.

Was a bit lazy regarding getting the tripod out all the time so wasn't happy with the shakey camera - made much worse with my decision to high-speed much of the footage (Much of it is as 6x real speed!)

I'm up for that... There must be a time I can get out for that. Sometime in the first week in May sound good? I know the other half is off then, no baby-sitter issues. And I've wanted to do the CRTT for a while now.

Possibly 2nd or 3rd May, will defo check with OH?
  •

Frank Hill

OK either 2nd or 3rd is clear for me but it would be good if you could give me  a defo on which day is best for you chaps
Cheers

Ok chaps small problem. Have just sprained ankle and been told not to weight it for x weeks where x = any number of weeks.
Will have to leave it till later.
Sorry

OK, makes sense to leave it a little while anyway - having just done it recently I'd rather space it out a bit anyway. Guys keen to come too so there's the likelihood of it turning into a bigger trip as more people get interested.
