Directions
Park up in the heritage center car park in Nenthead, Walk past the museum artifacts and up the hill towards the obvious spoil tips. The adit is just over the crest of the hill to your left.

Open access. Most adits unlocked

Suggested Equipment
Wellies and caving suit. SRT for the more interesting things

Length
medium mine. connects to the Nenthead traverse with includes several mines that when put together create a massive explorable system

Flood risk
slight. Some flooded sections.

Ed knows the place better than me and has as usual, offered the club a trip.

It is in Cumbria though, so a weekend stay in a bunkhouse would probably be best.

As Joel says i would gladly offer a day or weekend of trips up at Nent.  Trips can be anything from walk round trips with wet feet to full srt or wading through deep water.  there is tonnes of stuff to see and lots of artefacts hidden away :)
