Sun 10th July - Trip to Cwmorthin

A trip is being arranged to Cwmorthin slate mine on Sunday the 10th July.

Meeting time is 10:00 to 10:30am at the cafe at the bottom of the hill below the entrance to the parking in front of Cwmorthin.

It will be a round trip startting with the main incline, heading down (quick visit to the bridge of death) - then into water <<< this water goes over wellies >>> and around the otherside and back up and out.

Total trip time is expected to be 3-4 hours.

There are some great photo opportunities.

No equipment needed (spare socks/trousers as you will get wet)

I should be able to offer a lift tp 2 people (some seats in the car are already taken)

Alternative meeting places can be arranged.

I am in the North Wales area that weekend and hope to make it. Is the Cwmorthin car park easy to locate - I am presuming there is only one Cwmorthin....
