Howdy Doody,

Here are the details for our next Thursday night trip;

Ogof Hesp Alyn â€" The Lost Passageways
Our trip is to discover the lesser known passageways of this goliath. There are a great many limbs to the system and all are missed on the tourist route. Tonight we will visit just SOME of these tantalising treats. If you are lucky, you may experience Andy’s back passage, Wesley’s tight hole and Postman Pat’s box (to name but a few).

There is a short (optional) SRT pitch of which you do not need to descend (you will need to wait the return of those that do)

Meet Place : Cilcain Bridge Car Park
Meet Date : Thursday 29th Sept 2022
Meet Time : 6:30pm-6:45pm
Requirements : Wellies, overalls, helmet, lamp, gloves, (harness/tails for entry optional), change of clothes, knee pads if you have them, SRT kit (optional â€" see above)

Notes : This cave is the “Big Brother” to Poacher’s Cave. Entrance is by way of a 20 foot electron ladder then you can expect a conglomerate of crawling, goo, water, big boulder chambers, sand passages, climbing (free and assisted) and a spattering of traditional cave passageways.

Suitable for novices with some experience.

You WILL get wet AND you will be covered in cave silt syrup.
