UCET Trip 16th Sept 2021 Spar Mine Goodness

Howdy Doody,

Here are the details for our next Thursday night trip (there are two);

TRIP #1
Spar mine for some SRT goodness (don’t worry, the 2nd trip isn’t SRT). We are hoping to rig the wormhole so those who haven’t been down to that level before can do so on this trip.

TRIP #2
Spar Mine adventure. For those not wishing to take on the SRT challenge, there will be an opportunity to wander around the mine all the way to the water at the bottom and the “bridge” that harbours a Balrog. If you find him, you have to bang your staff hard on the ground and bellow “You shall not pass!”

Location : Spar Mine
Meet Place : Car Park opposite the Oak Inn
Meet Date : Thursday 16th Sept  2021
Meet Time : 6:30pm-6:45pm onwards
Requirements : Wellies, overalls, helmet, lamp, gloves, SRT kit if you want to fumble on the ropes.

If you do fancy coming and you need to borrow equipment (like a lid/lamp) then you MUST reply to the UCET forum so that Mike knows to bring the stuff you need (it will be no good emailing me or posting to Facebook this week).
