Howdy Doody,

Here are the details for our next Thursday night trip;

Location : Maeshafn Mine
Meet Place : Maeshafn
Meet Date : Thursday 12th Aug 2021
Meet Time : 6:30pm-6:45pm
Requirements : Wellies, overalls, helmet, lamp, gloves

Meet Place is the Village green here; https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.1400662,-3.1943197,3a,75y,299.71h,74.2t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sMnFi86t1YkmEn9zFvPUo6g!2e0!6shttps:%2F%2Fstreetviewpixels-pa.googleapis.com%2Fv1%2Fthumbnail%3Fpanoid%3DMnFi86t1YkmEn9zFvPUo6g%26cb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile.gps%26w%3D203%26h%3D100%26yaw%3D345.79327%26pitch%3D0%26thumbfov%3D100!7i13312!8i6656?hl=en-GB

Parking is 200 yards away here;

Notes : This is a lead mine with a “Derbyshire Key” lid. There is a squeezy section early on (4 feet) then an internal incline down to the workings. Some of the mine accepts water in wet weather and this can leave muddy water. Be prepared to need a change of clothes. Knee pads recommended.

Suitable for novices with some experience, not suitable for debut cavers.

If you do fancy coming, please could you let me know either by replying to this thread. No worries if you don’t know.

Thanks !

See you soon…..
